Proposed layout of the containerized water treatment station
Mechanical filter → two ion-exchange columns in a DUO system
Stage-by-stage overview:
- Mechanical filter: removal of suspended solids (turbidity). Automatic 20 µm mechanical prefilter.
- Ion-exchange columns: removal of dissolved contaminants.
- UV lamps — inactivation of bacteria, fungi, viruses, algae, and protozoa (including Clostridium and Cryptosporidium).
- Two generator sets (standard or tropical-rated) and two water suction pumps (capacity 5–10 m³/h), plus one floating motor pump (for wells); 230 V power supply.
- Shelves for canisters.
- If needed — a flexible (canvas) tank of several cubic meters for dirty or clean water as a reserve.
- Table and two stools for operators.
- Set of suction hoses — 40 meters.
- Ten-point water dispensing system.
